The Financial Market Surveillance Intelligence Centre (CISMF) is an institutional knowledge transfer unit of UQAM School of Management whose mission is to :
- Help ensure the integrity of the financial ecosystem by promoting best practices in the fight against manipulation to all stakeholders (investors, regulators, public decision-makers, academics, entrepreneurs, NPOs, media, etc.) ;
- Identify optimal approaches to detecting manipulation and deceptive trading practices that could affect all financial instruments on exchanges or over-the-counter markets ;
- Position Montréal as a North American and international centre of excellence in research, training and innovation in the field of financial market surveillance (scientific research relevant to practice and industry, training at all levels of study of highly qualified personnel for the Montréal financial centre, and development of innovative approaches to financial market intelligence).

CALL FOR PROJECTS OF THE CISMF
The Financial Market Surveillance Intelligence Centre is pleased to announce that its call for projects is now open! Research proposals may be submitted for funding of up to $15,000 per project selected by the Scientific Committee. There is no application deadline. This call for projects will remain open until the allocated funds have been used up. Details of this call for projects and the application procedure can be found here.
